Mark Branker

Mark Branker
Director of Development & Operations
Mark Branker, our director of development and operations, is responsible for identifying new investment and development opportunities. Mark focuses on development management, which includes project feasibility, as well as project conceptualization and execution. He is also responsible for managing business development and operations.
Mark is also the founder and president of Creative Construction Associates, Inc., a general contracting company specializing in commercial restorations, remodeling and tenant improvement projects. In this role, he is responsible for business development and management, including bidding, contract management and project management.
Mark has over 20 years of combined experience in the fields of architecture and construction management. As president of Creative Construction since 2008, he has overseen several restoration and remodeling projects for major senior housing providers, including Consulate Health Care, HCR ManorCare and NSPIRE Healthcare, as well as other major companies such as AutoNation.
Mark holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Architecture from City College of New York, and a Master of Science Degree in Real Estate Development from Nova Southeastern University. He is also a licensed Certified General Contractor in the State of Florida and is a member of the Urban Land Institute.

Everard Martin, our director of construction, oversees all pre-construction and construction-related operations. Everard is responsible for project planning, estimating & budgeting, value engineering, and project management.
Everard is currently president and CEO of EXM Construction, a full-service construction company that provides Owner’s Representation, Construction Program Management, Construction Management, and General Contracting services to all types of clients, both in the public and private sectors.
Everard possesses a wide range of construction expertise with over 35 years of construction industry experience. Prior to EXM, Everard was president of Broadway Construction Group (BCG), a New York City-based construction company. While at BCG, Everard oversaw the completion of many large-scale, multi-million dollar mixed-use, residential and hospitality projects with contract amounts up to $121 million.
Everard also worked for Plaza Construction for over 20 years as a president/project executive, where he was responsible for the completion of numerous projects, including 170 East End Avenue (19-story high-end residential condo tower), Chartwell House (35-story luxury condo tower), and The Westport (14-story apartment complex). Previously, Everard served as a project manager with the NY State Dormitory Authority, as an estimator for George A. Fuller Construction, and as an estimator/project manager for Frontier Restoration.
Everard holds a Bachelor of Science in Construction Management from Pratt Institute of Technologies, a Master of Science Degree in Civil Engineering from Stevens Institute of
Technology, and an MBA in Finance from Keller School of Management/DeVry University.

Evans Gedeon

Evans Gedeon, our director of finance, is responsible for financial feasibility and underwriting for all projects. Evans focuses on market analysis, deal structuring, and managing all equity and debt relationships. In addition, Evans will be responsible for asset management and due diligence for all acquisitions.
Evans is currently the founder and managing partner of Gideon Financial, where he oversees the entire aspect of the company. His experience includes acquisitions, development, operations, accounting, and commercial real estate lending. Evans has worked for the most highly regarded real estate companies as an executive. He also served as the CFO for a middle-market general contractor firm in South Florida. The companies that Evans has worked for include Codina Partners, Trez Capital, Altman Companies, and Procacci Development.
During his 15+ year career, Evans has successfully participated in projects totaling over 1 billion dollars with various complexities and capital structures. Evans holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance from Florida Atlantic University. He also holds a master’s degree in real estate development from Nova Southeastern University. He is a licensed real estate agent, licensed business broker, and licensed mortgage broker. He is also an active member of the Nova Southeastern University Real Estate Advisory Board and Vice Chairman of the Black Real Estate Investment Council powered by the Black Professional Network. He also serves as the Master of Ceremonies for Sam Brady Consistory 312. Evans other professional affiliations include Real Estate Executive Council (“REEC”), CFMA, Urban Land Institute (Young Leader Steering Committee), NAIOP, and ICSC.

Kirby Pate, our director of planning and design, focuses on site and regulatory feasibility, project conceptualization, site planning, and architectural design, and overseeing all architectural, engineering, interior and landscape design drawings and approvals.
Kirby is currently the principal and managing partner of Pate Design Group, a full-service architectural and interior design firm, providing design services for a wide variety of clientele throughout the Southeastern United States. The Pate Design Group has been committed to exceeding customers’ needs and expectations and delivering results with flexibility and accuracy for over 25 years.
Over 35 years, Kirby gained extensive hands-on experience in multiple project types while serving as a principal partner and project architect in a previous firm. Included among these were aviation including aviation and hospitality projects.
Kirby holds a Bachelor of Arts in Design and a Master of Architecture from Clemson University. He is licensed to practice in the southeastern United States by the American Institute of Architects and the National Council of Architectural Registration Boards.
